You Me At Six – Cavalier Youth ★★★★☆

YMA^

After much anticipation, You Me At Six’s new album Cavalier Youth has finally been released today! (REJOICE!)

With three albums already under their belt with slightly different sub-genre pulls, what You Me At Six might create from their great minds of musical talent.

Verdict? They really seem to have struck gold with this record.

Opening track Too Young To Feel This Way is a epic track to set the tone and showcase the pure vocals of Josh Franceschi. With a pinch of The Killers vibe mixed with a thumping drum beat and a huge amount of passion, this track really showing the band at its best!

Another great song is the anthem tune Wild Ones, where you just instantly fall in love with Josh’s voice (or is that just me?!) in this much more slower paced cracker of a tune.

Win Some, Lose Some is a much darker track packed full of incredible guitar solos and is definitely a tune that will get their fans dancing!

The standout track by far has to be the inspiring Carpe Diem, it is a diamond of a song that shines high above the rest and makes you want to listen to it over and over again! By the end of it, you will be singing your heart out to its lyrics filled with having no regrets.

Twitter and Facebook are already going crazy for this record and it seems to have not only delighted fans, but be rapidly climbing up the album charts and into critics and fans’ hearts.

At the end of Wild Ones, Josh questions “Are we gonna live forever?”; well guys if this album is anything to go by then You Me At Six are here to stay!

Definitely the best album that they have produced so far.
