Underøath to release live DVD of their Farewell Tour

underoath-620Metal core band Underøath have announced that they will be releasing a live DVD of their final tour.

These bad-ass Christians have been making holy shitting-ly good music together for an impressive fifteen years, but have sadly decided to come to an end.

On 2nd October 2012, the band announced that they would break up come the year 2013. Their short but sweet nine date Farewell Tour ended on 26th January of this year. Opening acts on the tour included mewithoutYou, As Cities Burns and letlive.

However, the band members are not ending their music career entirely. Vocalist Spencer Chamberlain is currently working on a new project titled Soundwave and drummer Daniel Davison has gone in the direction of video directing as he has recently directed August Burns Red ‘Provision’ music video.

Their last release consisted of an impressive anthology of their greatest hits titled ‘Anthology 1999-2013’ which was released mid-November.

Their live DVD is set to be released later this year.

With two Grammy nominations under their belt, seven albums and their sixth studio album peaking at number 8 on Billboard’s 200, it is safe to say the band have definitely come a long way from the city of Tampa, Florida. We can only wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours!

You never know, they might jump on the overflowing band wagon of reunited tours (fingers crossed).
