Supergroup ‘Dead Ending’ added to Bridge Nine Records

Hardcore label Bridge Nine Records have recently welcomed with open arms newly formed supergroup Dead Ending.

The hardcore/punk band consists of Alkaline Trio’s drummer Derek Grant, Rise Against’s bassist Joe Principe, Articles of Faith vocalist Vic Bondi and Jeff Dean as lead guitarist from All Eyes West.

Dean and Bondi formed a close friendship whilst on tour together way back in 2006. It wasn’t until 2011 when Dean’s long term pal Alkaline Trio’s Grant and Rise Against’s Principe joined the team.

2012 saw the band release their debut recordings in EP form titled S/T which AltPress reviewed postively saying it was ‘an impressive debut EP’.

That same year saw the supergroup perform their first live show at Las Vegas’s Punk Rock Bowling. The following year saw the release of their second EP Dead Ending II. Both EP’s were released through independent record label Alternative Tenticles.

Their new EP titled DE III is set to be released on the 15th April and will feature guest vocals by Jake Burns from Stiff Little Fingers and Jeff Pezzati from Naked Raygun.
