NEWS: Paramore’s Reading Festival set hit by technical difficulties

ParamoreeParamore‘s set at Reading Festival was hit by technical difficulties after the speakers blew, leaving the band in silence.

The American rockers from Franklin, Tennessee were co-headlining the main stage with Queens of the Stone Age when the power went out half way through the set.

Sound engineers for the festival struggled to restore the sound as frontwoman of the band, Hayley Williams entertained the crowd starting a Mexican wave.

After 20 minutes, the sound was restored and the band were able to carry on with their set, performing a stripped back version of the chart-topping hit The Only Exception.

Paramore will be hitting the main stage at Leeds Festival today before heading back to America to play the last dates of their summer co-headlining tour with Fall Out Boy and the iHeartRadio Festival.
