Bands join forces to release charity 2014 World Cup song

Football United The WorldRock bands from all around the world have collaborated to create a charity single in aid to be released this Monday.

The collective called Rock for Children includes the vocals from bands including Enter Shakari, Fearless Vampire Killers and Kids In Glass Houses for the single Football United The World.

Football United Around The World is the brainchild of well-known rock producer Dan Weller, who has produced for the likes of Blitz Kids and Sikth, and Lostalone frontman Steven Battelle.

Proceeds from sales of the track will go to charity Street Child World Cup. Street Child World Cup works together with Save The Children, their aim to provide a platform for street children to be heard, to challenge negative stereotypes of street children and to promote the rights of street children.

The single was recorded at Slam Dunk festival and at studios across the UK last month.
